Use antbacteral bar soap. Wash reaily good before shaving, then wash really good after. Bacteria is what causes the red bumps. If you shower every day use the soap. I do that and have'nt got bumps for alont time.

Exfoliate every day, and make sure to use a new razor. Also, if you use powder, it helps keep it dry which helps with the irritation. I read also if you use an antiperspirant it helps to prevent ingrowns there. (keeps it dry also)
