Bikini area hair question?

hi i frequently wax my bikini area and when i am unable to wax i shave, however i find that either way i normally have lots of small red/purplish bumps where maybe i have ingrown hairs or where they used to be, the whole areas just not as smooth as i would like it to be, does anyone have any tips?

When waxing you should clean area with a pre-wax solution. apply baby powder to area with a cotton ball or cotton pad. This will protect the skin . Apply wax in direction of hair growth pattern.Hold skin taunt {this is important}. Pull wax off in opposite direction of hair growth pattern.Firmly press area that you just waxed with clean hand or fingers . When you are all done with entire area you can apply ice or really cold compresses. This should help. You could also try getting the procedure done professionally. See if it makes a difference. Maybe you just have sensitive skin. It is a sensitive area.

It might be your skin type? I don't know but when I finish shaving in the morning I also have small bumps on my arms and legs

If you wax yourself this may be the problem and you may be missing something or pulling at an angle so all the hairs don't really come out the just snap? That is just my thought maybe have it done proffesionally or have a close friend help!

Good luck!
